A message from our President

Presidents Message

Dear South Bay Chapter members,

Welcome back to everyone. I hope you had a great holiday season of rest and relaxation. The 2023 tax season was long and grueling. I hope that all went well and we can look forward to a less stressful tax season for all of us in 2024.

Now that the Covid pandemic has resided, I hope that we as a Chapter can get back to normal. Your Chapter Board will be working on more live dinner meetings, as we wish to personally connect with you. If you have any suggestions for tax topics or education classes, please direct them to us as we are here to serve your needs.

The Chapter would like to invite you to volunteer as there is always a need to assist in keeping our Chapter active and responsive.

Please note that CSEA has worked with the California Legislature and the State will announce February 15th, 2024 as Enrolled Agent Day.

If you have not registered for our Last Chance Seminar I encourage you to do so. This is our 45th year conducting this event. We have a nationally recognized speaker, Tom Gorczynski, and the seminar earns you eight hours of continuing education.

I thank you for the continued support. Let's have a great tax season.

Sincerely,

Lynwood Ford, EA
South Bay Chapter President
